One more beautifully executed piece, thanks for sharing it. As for your advice about revisiting memories and old writing, I've been doing that a bit lately and you're absolutely right. Interference theory has a lot going for it!
❤️ I especially feel that way about real events that I turn to fiction. That process inevitably causes me to question whether the thing even happened at all.
thanks for giving it a second read :) to be sure, reading the poem on its own, I totally appreciate your first reaction, especially given where my mind was at when I wrote it. cheers.
I get it. When I go through old diary entries from years ago, it's like hard to imagine that the person there was actually me. Pretty profound when you think about it.
Like Van Gogh painting the same sunflowers over and over. Or capturing different self portraits. There's always something new to find even in the same subject. Thanks Karl for reading.

thanks CT, I'm glad you're finding it to be a valuable experience :)
I was just yesterday remembering something from when I was very young -- and wondering if it actually ever happened.

So painfully true Franco. So painfully true. Great poem.
thank you, Paulette <3
I just read your context. . i didn't read it before as zi was digesting your poem. I see where i had the wrong context in my response. ;)
I will complete the read in the future. . How experience adds to the flavour of life. And especially memories.

Yeah, I can relate for sure. Thanks, Ria.
You get me every time with these deep cuts. Very good poem. And marvelous commentary.
Thank you, Victoria
