"splatters of ink, neatly crafted into symbols" love that thought, says so much in a very interesting way!

“we’ve traded deep sincerity

for superficial veracity

a commodified version of truth

but an eternal betrayal of what’s within” — sooo good!

“...but the pulp from the tree has more substance.” We need to hire more trees to run the world.

"a commodified version of truth

but an eternal betrayal of what’s within"- This part is well said. I connected with the part about who we are on paper. It's never a true representation of our real selves. Resonant for sure, Franco.

Another insightful presentation of the vague and abstract. Well done again, Franco. So many standout lines in the poem and commentary can be contemplated. We are in constant search of that fine place and feel its frustration often but strive on anyway- we must!

maybe it should be a land

where you don’t have to play a part

you’ve been playing your entire life,

where you can say things you normally wouldn’t say

and not a single person alive expects you to be anything at all

Easy ?

No ! The hardest way

I’m going there at least for the last 7 years now

I got there?

Not yet

But I love the journey

It sucks oh yes

Just you and you ❣️

But would be nice to have someone strong going by your side

each one in they own learning

It’s so easy to make believe and be fooled by paper, but to really see one has to understand that there are different grades or quality in paper pulp. Not all pulp is turned into toilet paper. Not all people are genuine but I will say my parents were light years ahead of me and I refused to listen. Now I see how easily they ignored my hardheaded attitude and knew that in the end, “ Verum in aeternum “ ( Truth is eternal).

"This superficial veracity is what you see on social media, where people easily present the surface value of what they are, while so easily concealing the truth about who they are or what they live for.”

truth…

a true statement about ‘asocial media’ ; a true statement about how fearful truth appears….
