Beautiful poem. 39 quarters are better than 975 pennies.

What David said on the restack was right—you have such a hypnotic way of delivering the prose. Pulls me toward the heart of it.

" these words they're' still young...." Love that line! Nice to have a Franco nightcap :-) Did you catch your breath enough yet? :-) What a sweet tribute to your people.

Gratitude is the way. So earnestly expressed in the voiceover too.

I lost a $20 bet to a co-worker that Reagan would lose the presidential race in 1980. Paid her in pennies (back when they were worth something).

So heartfelt & funny, paying with 35 quarters; quite a trip and a good memory to have. So true about family and friends, the love, the glue that keeps us together; they make our lives better & best. Thanks.

I don't know where I'd be without my brother. He's my rock, always steady, always dependable. I think everyone deserves someone like that in their lives.
