Well said. The title is perfect, mate. I feel that way a lot. Social graces create a barrier between us and the real.

You m*********** you kicked my a** this morning. Listen. I know you don't want to hear anything religious and I don't blame you. It's 99.44100% b*******. But listen what Jesus said, I think this is about what you're talking about. Jesus said "If you want to be my disciple you must, by comparison, hate everyone else... your father and your mother, wife, and children, brothers and sisters. Yes, even your own life. Otherwise, you can not be my disciple." Sit on that for a while. I really love your stuff Franco. It's great.

I've really enjoyed reading your comments so far, Jeff. Glad you're enjoying and engaging with my work. This definitely gives me something to think about and it's exactly the kind of insight I enjoy as a writer. Thank you, always!

Same here. There seems to be an emerging understanding, though incongrous against the status quo, is needed at this time. Writers like you have the capability to touch people deeply; those who have "ears to hear" and an open heart.

With the mechanical precision and timing of a Swiss clock.
