Well personally I really liked this one. A little bit of ambiguity or unconventional word choices can add flavor even if it makes things more enigmatic. I love that you admit to not even being sure about the meaning of your own work in retrospect. Writers should never be to certain even when self reflecting. Great analysis
Love the last couple of lines about the glass chest. Beauty in fragility. Powerful imagery Franco. I can see almost see and feel that volcanic rock being scratched up against a foot.
In art, there's nothing like "too personal." Throw that spear, Franco.
thanks Portia :)

Anything you write, however senseless, can touch someone's heart. Somewhere.
thank you Nevena ❤️
You've shared many spears with us, Substack friend!
thank you for appreciating them :)
Exactly!

thank you Sandy ❤️
Wow, I really love your style!
thank you 🙏 😊
LOL: You don't know why you used "vesicular" -- that's true inspiration! I loved this poem. Yes, the spears. Let's shoot for that.
thank you Connie ♥️
This is one feels powerful with a touch of vulnerability.
thank you Lara ❤️
Now you got me thinking of all the pitted things.
ohh I know.
Not sure what else to say except that it's often the case that your words tend to grab me by the neck and throw me. Keep at it Franco.
Thanks SG :)
Blisters are also vesicular, due to constant irritation, inflammation or an infection. Interesting word.
thanks Carole. yes definitely. which I'm sure some writing can be irritating as well :P
It’s ok. In life, we continue to exist alongside the many things that don’t make sense. 🩵
thank you Grace :)
