Excellent advice!! Let's turn things around: stop the doomscrolling and imagining worst case scenarios and start using our imaginations for dreaming up the positives. Anything good can happen. I think this poem was super succinct and uplifting.

Opening lines and the cover photos drew me write in. But the real substance is in your conversational commentaries. Always love your insight and analysis. Well done my dude.

thanks Derrick. i appreciate you as always

This is uplifting, Franco. We can either spend our time trembling over the possible horrors just ahead, or use that same time to focus and create something wonderful. The future's going to come, either way.

exactly. you said it perfectly. glad you found this uplifting Craig :) thank you

Really needed this. There's so much fear ad pessimism out there. But we are fully capably of optimism and positive dreaming as well as dread. Beautiful poem and imagery.

I have found this line to be true: "if you know exactly what you want to do

then no one can stop you!" Does that mean you will be as successful as you want to be doing what you want to do? No. But no one can stop you from doing it. Another thought provoking poem, Franco.

Franco Amati's avatar

thank you brother. that is a crucial point KC. if you are persistent and creative, no one can stop you. might not be exactly as you envision it. but you can still go for it.

I have an obsession with Desmond Hume myself! Love love love his character arc. Linking your poem to him really added an extra layer to inquire here.

Franco Amati's avatar

thank you Ann. yea Desmond is the best! :) glad you appreciated this.

Damn bro, that's as down to earth and humble an answer to the whole free will question as I could come up with. People put far too much weight on objective answers when it comes to subjective reality, and somehow we need to reconcile the differences. Awesome poetry.

much appreciated blake. thank you for your thoughts
