During my own recent bout with some sort of bug, I watched a lot more shows and movies than I normally watch in months.

The Fare was surprisingly very good! On Amazon Prime. Think Sisyphus, Persephone and Hades and you’ll have the basic premise.

Introducing Selma Blair was an excellent documentary of her travails with MS.

gonna check out The Fare. Sounds up my alley. Thanks, Jeff! Thanks for the recommendations.

Enemy of the State

"What will it take for us to walk out of here with that tape?"

"The end of the world!"

Great answer to any over- pompous prick like goofy Jon Voight.

As for your cold, get some Nasonex or Flonase inhalers and use 2 puffs in each nostril twice a day for 5 days. Take 3 ibuprofen every 8 hours for the fever. Get Mucinex honey/Echinacea throat drops that have 2.4 mg of hexaresorcinol (it's antibacterial and antiviral) up to 6 times a day. Gargle with any Listerene mouthwash twice a day.

The 1st two will do you the best.

Do you find a certain clarity in your mind when you are sick? I find I am wildly more gentle, a quality I wish came more naturally and not just another symptom of a sinus infection

I know what you mean. There does seem to be a tenderness to being sick that isn't there otherwise. :) what a nice insight.

You're welcome. Interesting to say the least, so not knowing what kind of films you like, who knows if you'll like; it starts off kid of dramatic but then settles into a lot dialogue with the 3 main characters, a bit like a combo of Waiting For Godot and Taoist ways : )

The Conversation is one of my favourites. I guess I should watch Enemy of the State. Just watched Starship Troopers (1997) last night. That movie makes you forget everything. Get well soon!

ah, yeah it's been a while since I've watched Starship Troopers. I remember as a kid really enjoying it. Maybe I'll give it another go. And yes, The Conversation is unsettling but very intriguing. Thanks, David, for the well wishes.

Star Wars all day! That always makes me feel better, on both physical and mental shitty days. A good action movie never hurts either. Good luck!

Taste ain't that great. The lemon echinacea version is better than the regular in terms of taste, but you can always mix it. It's not terrible, but not something you'd generally drink for pleasure, but it makes your throat feel smooth and awesome!
