Introducing Garbage Notes: Uncrumpled
A New Podcast from Franco Amati and 20% Off Promo for New Annual Members
Tomorrow 6/28 will be the debut episode of Garbage Notes: Uncrumpled!
This is a new podcast feature for paid subscribers.
Let’s face it, it’s mostly me bullshitting for an hour. But my intention is for you to get a more intimate look into my life as a writer and as a person.
Have a listen before you take a nap. Put it on in the background while you’re doing dishes. Maybe you need a soothing voice to listen to while you’re stuck in traffic.
Get your 20% off discount before the episode launches. This offer will only be available for a limited time.
Here’s a rough outline of what I talk about in this upcoming episode:
Part 1: I talk all about Substack, my reflections on what I published over the last couple of weeks, how each piece did (numbers wise), and what I felt were the most standout comments I received.
Part 2: I discuss my work as editor of Scuzzbucket on Medium. I talk about being part of their Boost Nomination Program. And I highlight some of my favorite poems from other writers that I featured over the last two weeks.
Part 3: I go into my fiction writing, the short stories I’m working on right now, and what I’m currently submitting to various speculative fiction magazines. I discuss some work in progress and talk about what it’s like writing and publishing short stories.
Part 4: I talk about entertainment and inspirations for the week—things I’m watching, things I’m reading, stuff like that.
Part 5: I take you right up to the present moment, concluding with what I plan to work on the very day this was recorded—I give a preview of what my current writing work day looks like, the writing activities that I plan to tackle in the coming hours, and what my hopes are for this new audio version of Garbage Notes.
Thank you to all my subscribers for going on this ride with me. The comments and feedback you’ve contributed over the past year have been incredible. It brings me immense joy to continue the conversation with you.
And don’t forget, grab that 20% off now— I don’t do a lot of promos. But being a paid member of Garbage Notes not only helps me continue to at least have the hope that I might be able to write for a living someday, but it also enables you to get the full Garbage Notes experience, access to all paid posts, and now any podcast that I publish from here on out.
This is such a cool idea! Can’t wait to listen to it!
This should be fun!
